About FyMTI

The FyMTI, Festival y Mercado de TV-Ficción Internacional (International Fiction Television Festival and Market) is a one-of-a-kind event in Hispanic America, devoted to television contents, formats and production services, offering audiovisual screenings, awards voted for an International jury, business meetings, and a forum.

Its main goal is to highlight and advertise the values of fiction television, award quality products and present the world’s television fiction scene; to promote co-production, thus consolidating a regional audiovisual production site and encouraging constant analysis and debate about the development and future challenges of the industry. 

The most outstanding executives, professionals, researchers and artists, with a permanent national and international media presence, gather annually at the FyMTI, to acknowledge exchange in a celebration that is becoming a permanent meeting point and marketplace in Latin America.

Andrea Del Boca

Andrea del Boca has a long-time career as an actress since she started out as a little girl. The telenovelas Papá corazón, Un ángel llamado Andrea, and Andrea Celeste were smash hits in her childhood years. During the 90´s, the soap operas Celeste, Antonella, Perla Negra or Zíngara, where she played the roles of struggling and bold heroines, were aired in hundreds of countries, making the Argentinean genre to grow internationally. She stood out in television comedy shows such as El sodero de mi vida, and in the films Cien veces no debo and Apariencias. Her understanding with the audience was also proved when she was the hostess of the talk show La mamá del año.

She is currently touring along the country with the theater play Eva and Victoria. She was honored with several Martín Fierro awards, a renowned prize awarded by the Asociación de Periodistas de la Televisión y la Radiofonía Argentina (Argentinean Television and Radio Journalists Association).

Arnaldo André

During the 60´s, he made his theater debut with the successful piece Cuarenta Quilates to later become a part of the cast of El amor tiene cara de mujer. Hand in hand with unforgettable Argentinean television writer Alberto Migré, he became the memorable lead character of Pobre diabla and Piel naranja. In the 80´s and 90´s he was the protagonist of several success hits like Amo y señor and the International co-productions Amándote I and II, and El infiel, among others. His comic vein was introduced on Gerente de Familia and Gino. The bad guy in Valientes earned him a Martín Fierro Award. He is currently playing the role of the brigade chief in Los únicos.  He has also worked in film and theater.
